Do not wait for final inspection to discover a material substitution, incorrect zipper curve or mispositioned pocket. 1. Assemble the inspection reference pack

An inspector cannot judge “premium quality” consistently. Give the team controlled references. 2. Define defects by consequence

Defect classification should reflect the product, market and customer agreement. A loose decorative thread is not the same as a sharp exposed metal edge. 10. In-line control and corrective action

Final inspection samples a completed lot; it cannot efficiently repair a systemic error. Approve first pieces at cutting, decoration and assembly.
