Define the program and assortment first

Review fiber/material, care, origin, environmental, compliance and performance wording against order- and destination-specific evidence before labels or packaging are printed.

Plan bulk quality checks around the approved sample

Choose relevant checks for material reference and color, dimensions, filled fit, seams, edge finish, closure, hardware, decoration, labels, appearance and packing. Add order-specific flex, abrasion, cleaning, temperature, load or other tests only with defined methods and acceptance criteria.

Set incoming, in-process or final checkpoints as needed, sampling basis, defect categories and disposition process. The controlled pre-production sample should be one reference, not the entire QC plan.

Use written deviation and change control

A proposed material, backing, color, hardware, construction, artwork, quantity, pack-out or schedule change should be written and assessed before use. Identify effects on sample, evidence, quote, inspection and delivery.

Approve revised documents and retain a change log. Do not let one SKU change silently alter the common baseline.

Design unit packing and cartons for the PU surface

Define stuffing or inserts, folding, protective sheets/sleeves, hardware isolation, zipper position and unit pack. Check for pressure marks, blocking, transfer, creases, scratches and deformation on a packed sample.

Specify carton quantity, orientation, dimensions/limits, labels and stacking. Record any temperature or storage conditions relevant to the approved material.

Reconcile allocation and receiving

Issue the final quantity matrix by SKU, carton, destination and required date. Include allowed quantity variance, barcode/label data, assortment rules, carton marks and receiving documents.

At completion, reconcile ordered, approved, packed, shipped and received quantities. This helps separate product issues from allocation or logistics errors.

Build the schedule from approval gates

Plan backward from required arrival. Include specification freeze, material/color, artwork, sample, evidence/test, production, inspection, packing, booking, transit and receiving milestones, with trigger dates and responsibilities.

Any MOQ, price, capacity or lead-time statement remains specific to the current approved scope and start conditions until confirmed in writing.
